How to activate hardware accelerated in Quicktime

Hi,

i have a ATI HD3560, a Athlon XP 2600 and a LG Blueray drive. With this hardware i can watch Bluray`s with no problems. But when i want to watch 1080p HD Trailers from Apple, i get a poor performance and can't watch them, even 480p and 720p.

How can i activate any hardware accelerated video in Quicktime?

Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Open the Display control panel>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot, that's where the hardware acceleration is.

Or open the QuickTime control panel Audio tab>Select Audio playback and Recording Devices>Advanced>Performance, but that may be mostly for audio.

QuickTime control panel> Streaming tab> Instant-on, you could try moving those settings

No - i mean an explicit information about quicktime hardware accerelarion of video encoding.

All the settings are common global settings for windows xp.

Another question:
Is QuickTime able to use ATI's AVIVIO Video Hardware Acceleration of video encoding or NVIDIA's Pure HD Hardware Acceleration of video encoding?

Simple and clear.
