Help me find the UPC/Bar code on my iBook box

Guys,

I need to fill out this rebate for my iPod mini ( http://images.apple.com/promo/pdf/Studentunion.pdf) and it asks me to cut out the bar code off the box of the iPod and iBook.

I found the iPod bar code, but for the life of me I can't find the iBook. I looked at every corner of the box and didn't find a bar code section which contained the serial number and part number. Where is that bar code located (This is important, this is $170! :))

Also, my iPod part number doesn't have enough letters to fill the box in the .PDF. Is that okay?

(I couldn't figure out if this is the right forum to ask this or not, so if it isn't please direct me to the right place).

One more thing, can I fill out the rebate form on a computer through PDF editing?

You can save the .PDF as an image file and edit it in MS PAINT (on my PC computer). Then print it out. It comes out fine, just computer typing where I would normally put my written name.

I signed the document using my normal handwriting, of course.

Is this acceptable?

I don't work for mac. This is a users discussion board. Anybody who works for mac would be identified in their profile on the left. Level 2 refers to amount of points i've received by posting and receiving votes.

Do you know who I can call/email to verify?

(yeah, I know it sounds like I am too lazy to write it out. My handwriting is very bad in these spaces. I already wrote it out and its hard for me to write it. I am so used to printing things out. On top of that, the address of my apple store goes off the spaces!)

Okay never mind. I found that bar code. It just slipped passed my eyes somehow.

But anyway, still the iPod part number and can I edit the PDF with my information and print it out?

The iPod part # is on the upc (on the flap with the barcode). The number as I recall does not completly fill in the boxes. Unless you have Adobe Acrobat you cannot write/type on the PDF.
