Why doesn’t song title and artist information burn?

When I burn a disc from the iTunes app, why isn’t song title and artist information included? Songs are only identified as Track 1, Track 2,…

Yeah, happens to me sometimes, did you check "Include CD Text". It might fix it.

Music_foryou, Thanks for the info. I'll be the first to admit that I am not very iTunes savvy. Can you (someone) inform me where I would set the "Include CD Text" option before burning a disc? Thank you so much.

Well - I located where the "Include CD Text" option appears. I burned another disc and selected the option but the song title and artist name again failed to be included. I still get the Track 1, Track 2, etc. information. I searched the web for some additional help and evidently this is an iTines issue that has been around for awhile. I hope itunes can correct this seemingly easy issue in the near future.
