Jul 26, 2009 8:45 AM in response to CroftUKby Allan Sampson,The YouTube app on the iPhone does not include an option to post a video to FaceBook or anywhere else for that matter. With firmware update 3.0, you have access to your YouTube account to add a video to your YouTube playlists and access your YouTube playlists along with being able to share a YouTube video link via email - which has always been available. -

Jul 26, 2009 10:16 AM in response to w7oxby Allan Sampson,There are plenty of YouTube videos posted on FaceBook - a number of my friends do so and I have done the same on occasion. A FaceBook link for posting YouTube videos to FaceBook is available via YouTube's website. -

So what your saying is that you can link YouTube videos to Facebook from the YouTube site but this feature is not accessible through the iPhone YouTube app? -

Jul 28, 2009 9:51 PM in response to CroftUKby allen099,I don't know if there's a way to post YouTube clips that you found to Facebook, but there is something called YouTube "autoshare" which will allow YouTube to forward any of your own uploaded videos to Facebook, Twitter, or Google Reader.
Log into your YouTube account and then go here: http://www.youtube.com/account#privacy/autoshare -

Actually, a lot of my FB friends post YouTube videos of new music. I hate to say this, but it's cost me a lot in iTunes downloads, almost as much as the Shazam App, which is the coolest thing ever. -
Jul 29, 2009 4:39 AM in response to OrangeMarlinby Russell Martin67,If you record a video on your 3Gs, when you sync the video will be in iphoto (mac) and then there should be a link in iPhoto to post to your facebook page.
But directly from your phone, video you shoot or video you find on youtube...I know of no way to link to FB directly. -
Jul 29, 2009 5:41 AM in response to CroftUKby CroftUK,Allen, the autoshare feature you mentioned within YouTube which links to Facebook does it automatically put videos that you view onto your facebook? Can you shed any more light on this? -
Jul 29, 2009 5:47 AM in response to CroftUKby Allan Sampson,The YouTube FaceBook "share" option for a selected video places the video on your FaceBook profile. The video can be viewed by others within FaceBook. -
