Solution: Ford Sync (Stop Bluetooth Streaming from iphone when connected)

I have the solution to a problem that I had with my 2009 Ford Escape and iPhone. I paired my iPhone to my Escape via Sync. Everytime I got in my vehicle, the music in the iPod of my iPhone would automatically start playing. I finally figured out how to stop this.
1) Go to media while the music from the iPhone is playing.
2) It should already say "Bluetooth" for the Source but if not, toggle until you are at Source "Bluetooth" (your iPhone music will be playing over the speakers)
3) Go to Settings (bottom right-hand corner of the Sync menu_
4) You will see an option "Autoplay"
5) Click "Autoplay", select "off" and there you go 🙂
Now you can stop the music from your iPhone and when you get back in your car, the iPhone won't stream music automatically over the Sync system.
