Where is my iTunes account balance?

I recently was given an Apple iTunes music gift card. I received my 25 dollar credit and my balance showed in iTunes. The problem I'm having is that now when I log into iTunes, my balance is no longer present. I checked out my balance on my iPhone and the correct balance shows up just fine. But when I purchase anything on my PC through iTunes, it charges my credit card rather than pulling from my account balance. Anyone know the fix to this issue?

Are you sure you're logged into the iTunes Store using the account ID and password you set up, or used, when you redeemed your card? There's no possibility that you, either inadvertently or deliberately, have two iTunes Store accounts? Confirm that you're using the same iTunes Store account on your computer that you have set up on your iPhone.
