HELP: CAN I SEE A HISTORY OF SOMEBODY'S TEXT MESSAGES

I need to research a backlog of text messages but I notice the Iphone can't let you go back past a few.

Is there a way to see the HISTORY of somebody's text messages.

You should be able to scroll the screen up so that you get to the top of the list of messages to and from a given person. If there are older messages available there will be a button to click on "Load Earlier Messages".
