iPhone 3G s calculator

On the iPhone 3GS scientific calculator, can you enter angles in degrees/minutes/seconds and convert it to decimals of a degree automatically before using trig functions? Trig functions are useless if each time I have to manually convert DMS to decimals of a degree before proceeding with a calculation. The manual provides no direction.
