Hello

I have some Music in Flac and I want them imported into itunes.

does anyone knows about a pluggin which works. My itunes is configured to import converting to Apple lossless codec so the idea is to be able not only to impot from CD but also from Flac without loosing quality.

many thanks in advance for your always apreciated help.

regards

It would probably be better to use a utility like Max to convert your FLAC files to Apple Lossless, but if you really want to keep your FLAC tracks as they are, you might try Fluke. There are instructions here:

though not using FLAC I haven't tested them.

    Hope this helps.

No such plugin exists that I've ever seen. If you want your FLAC tracks on your iPod, you're almost certainly going to have to convert them with another application, as with Max, and then bring them into iTunes.

Just use Foobar2000 which is still the best player, that plays FLAC files and provide you with better overall sound quality!

Don't do the stupid conversion to ALAC. Use Foobar2000 player!

You posted in a thread that's well over two years old. And Foobar2000 is a Windows application whereas the OP has, or had, a Mac. Please be more attentive when providing a reply to ensure it's applicable and timely.
