How do I remove Keyboard Firmware Update

Can someone please advise how I remove the recent Keyboard Firmware Update 1.0 Since this update has been installed I cannot select rows in OpenOffice Calc.

I used to select a whole row by pressing Shift fnright arrow, this used to select the whole row up to the last column, however now shift+ right arrow selects individual cells, fn + right arrow moves the cursor to the end of the row, but shift+fn do not seem to work together.

Any help gratefully received.
Thank you.

Sorry, but firmware updates cannot be "uninstalled." These are not software updates that may be easily replaced nor can you return to a previous version by simply reinstalling software.

You would need a firmware updater that had the "old" keyboard firmware, but no such updater is available.

This may be more a problem with the Open Office software. You may be able to change the keyboard shortcuts that OO uses. Be sure you are using the most recent version for Intel Macs. You might also try using NeoOffice which is essentially the same product - neooffice.org.
