The saved pdf document comes up in Preview. It has been saved as rotated but it prints like the original. I printed another very similar document rotated so I know it can be done but don't know what I am doing wrong.

Help!

    Hi Sheryl,

How is it Rotated, how many degrees?

    What size is it?

In Page setup, what is the Orientation set to?

It's rotated 90 degrees and is letter size. Although it's in Preview, it does not give me the option to press any Print button from there. I go to the Menu and press File --> Print. There does not appear to be a Page Setup in Preview or in the printer options.

When I go to File --> Print and press Preview from that menu (a preview of Preview), I am given a Print option and the page is rotated but overflows the page. It still prints out as nonrotated.

I'm not sure why you don't rotate it back and print it, but in Preview>File, 2nd to last item is Page Setup, is that set to Landscape instead of Portrait?

I shrunk it down so it would fit and I'm going to leave it at that.

Thanks for the help. Ran out of patience with it.

Good news, thanks for the report!

Yeah, that's the way to do it if you want to print it sideways on an 8.5*11 sheet... the only way actually.
