Hit power, nothing on LCD, LED #4 isn't coming on...

iMac 20" Core2Duo Mid2007. It's out of warranty and i've checked all connections. I can't get the LCD to show anything, i've even tried external displays... nothing. It has a DVD in it and that won't eject either. Any suggestions? I suspect logic board, but I am hoping something else will fix it.

I know there's a disc in the drive, because I can hear it spin when I kick on the computer but I don't know what it is. Is it possible that the disc is throwing the computer off? Should I attempt to unplug the SuperDrive from the LB?

Have you tried FireWire Disk mode with your Mac Pro? Turn on your Mac Pro, and connect a FireWire cable between the two Macs. Startup the iMac and hold the T key on the keyboard. If you had a display, the FireWire icon would appear on screen. If not, you can look at your Mac Pro to see if the hard drive and CD/DVD appear on the desktop. You would be able to eject the CD if they appear. If not, you may have to take it in for service. It may also be the battery on the motherboard that died.

I will check the Disk Mode tomorrow, but is there just one battery on the LB? The CR2032 battery? I thought that just kept the clock settings, would that cause a computer to spin fans but not boot completely and throw LED #4 (no LCD detected) on the board?

I will swap it tomorrow for the heck of it too, I would take it to Apple but I don't live within 200 miles of one.
