HFS DVD to PC format?

I have a dvd that was formatted at HFS and burned on a Mac but will not be seen on a PC. I need to opne it on a PC too. How can I keep it as is but save it as a PC/Mac format. I need the dvd the same as Mac as it has dual installers.
I do not have a burner on my Ibook but could burn elsewhere..Just need to save and burn so I can burn on my PC at work.
TIA 🙂

I think you'll have to create a new data disc in Toast and make sure it's formatted as ISO-9660. Then copy your files into the disc and burn a copy. ISO-9660 should be readable by both Mac OS and Windows. I'm at work right now and don't have Toast in front of me. Do you have version 6 or 7?

Can you give us some more detailed instructions? I can't find anywhere in the Disk Utility to select a format for burning. By default, a CD burned in the Finder will be an "HFS+/ISO-9660 hybrid". This should be readable by both a Mac and a Windows PC. However, by default the format for a DVD is HFS+ only.

In Toast 6, when you create a data disk, you choose either "Mac only" or "Windows and Mac" . If you choose "windows and Mac" when you create the disk you should be able to read it on both platforms. If you just want to read the current disk, I tried an eval of a product called MacDrive ( http://www.mediafour.com/products/macdrive6 ) and it seemed to work OK, however it cost more than it was worth to me ($50 US).

Hope this helps
