"Server connection interrupted" error

I've just started getting the "server connection interrupted" error. It seems to pop up pretty randomly with that message, my (MobileMe?) username and a "Disconnect" button. I say "MobileMe?" cos it's a username I use on a lot of things, but MobileMe is the only one I can think of that I use on the Mac itself.
I've googled this problem and can only seem to find things about networks. I'm not on a network (other than my wifi). I do use the server on my Mac, and sometimes run Windows on it too, but the message comes up when I'm not running windows.
The username thing, and the fact that it wasn't happening before I started using MobileMe suggests that that's the cause. My MobileMe settings in System Preferences are correct and syncing seems fine between my Mac/iPhone. Any ideas?
