Recording Sooperlooper?

I've set up Garageband with Sooperlooper as an AU , and it works fine , but I can't find a way to record the loops. The meter for the overall sound registers but the meter in the Real Instrument track I'm using doesn't (although if I unclick the Record button in that track it silences SooperLooper) Can anyone help?

ibook, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

I've been playing with for a while but I do not think it will work with GB.

In fact I went to the website http://www.essej.net/sooperlooper/features.html

And I dl'd sooperlooper. Then I installed it and couldn't get it to work. The documentation says multichannel which will not work in GB.

So I went to the SooperLooper forum link to find out.

Under general discussions/ looping techniques you'll find real info about sooperlooper BUT under all the other forum topics like "MIDI Setup", "AU Lab", "Mac Specific Troubleshooting" (to name just a few of the dozen there) you will not find forum questions but links to pictures of ****. These links are in all the other forum topics.

I have never seen anything like this before in an AU forum.

So something is not right one way or the other.

Thanks for the reply Warrior Ant , I'll keep on looking myself , maybe try using it with some other programme-it's a great looper for guitar in terms of sound quality and length of loop etc. , it's just strange that Garageband accepts it , and plays it ,but can't record it. I set it up as an Au , and then you have to direct it to the full app. somewhere else on your computer , (and load Jack server before you do any of that) so it's quite complicated but worth it .
