iPhoto and Fujifilm camera J210

Hi,

I have been importing pictures from the above camera for several months. However recently when I tried to import pictures which also contained a 1:30 movie, all went pear shaped!

iPhoto wants to import the pictures, but only imports the six or seven before the movie. The camera name is also visible on the left hand menu of iPhoto but not on Finder or Macintosh HD, so I am unable to grab the pictures and place on the desktop.

Some expert help for a frustrated amateur please!

iPhoto will baulk at importing movies that it doesn't support or are too big.

Workaround 1: Use Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) to move the movies and photos to the desktop and import from there

Workaround 2: Use a USB Card Reader to mount the camera’s card on the desktop so you can use the Finder.

Thanks for your reply. Still having trouble capturing images off camera. Movie has bee successfully transferred now.

I may have better luck at the correct forum.
