Hi david t,

Thank you.

The Sig pic was created in Photoshop Elements 2
It was a basic black and white signature with a couple of effects (Neon or Plastic and a drop shadow added).

I worked on it as a .png so that it the background is see-through.

It is hosted on a web site and then called from there using HTML.

Hi,

Custom Avatars used to be allowed under the previous software that used to run Apple Discussions.

Many people have asked about it in this version.
The last I remember hearing about they phrase "It's coming" was used but with no time frame.

You can post pics to site like PhotoBucket or Flickr or similar.

An HTML phrase like this will post it here
<img src="http address of pic">

Below is how my Sig pic gets here
<img src="/___sbsstatic___/migration-images/992/9921824-1.png" width=100>

It is on my own website in a folder called images (the slashes are part of the "Path" to the file/pic)
The width bit is so it appears smaller (In this case) than it dos on the site.

AS I have linked to my site then I should post a disclaimer
I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link.

Hope this helps.

Hi david t,

Most of the thread I post to I am Subscribed to (Use My Settings to Find out top right)

This way I get emails like you do about which posts have been added to a thread.

(in iChat and iSight forums I make a point of reading All threads and don't miss anyone - in Discussion Feedback I might miss a few posts as I don't get here that often)

Please not my local Post time below.
I may not post in this thread again tonight (my time).

Opps, Sorry Chris.

Now this is a threadjack but you started this thread and asked the question 😉

I have joined several of david t's threads and posts and thought this was one of the ones he started.

I do apologise.
