Drobo or LacIe Raid for hard drive for Time Machine

I am looking to move my time machine backup (and other hard drive backup) to a larger drive. I was considering the LacIe 2GIG Raid (1GIG data) or the Drobo

The Drobo seems like a better opton - any feedback would be great.

I can't speak to the LaCie 2GIG RAID solution but I've been running a Drobo (2nd gen) with 4, 1TB HDs in it for about 5 months and have been very pleased with functionality. I migrated the 2.2GB of data I had into the cluster and the process took about 5 hours (setting up the Drobo, cloning the old backup solution and migrating it into the new setup).

It's definitely a bit more costly than the new 2TB Time Capsule solution or even to go multiple 1TB external drives but the convenience factor is certainly there.
