I have had several issues with iTunes libraries and therefore have a couple of different libraries stored in my music folder on my hard drive. I just bought an iPhone, plugged it in and chose the wrong library to run in iTunes, and now I can't switch it back. I went to advanced preferences and though the iTunes music folder location change would work, but that doesn't seem to be the answer. Can someone help me? I have several playlists and lots of music that I would like to upload to my iPhone, but I need the correct library on my iTunes. Thank you.
Holding down the option key to change my library worked, but the library doesn't seem to be there. Is it possible for a library to disappear? I did nothing to delete anything in iTunes, but it seems that I do not have the ability to pull up the latest library. I have tried several different libraries, but none of them have my latest playlists. Is there a way to retrieve this automatically without having to sift through the stored libraries? Thank you.
I ended up accessing my purchase history and simply getting back the songs that I had lost for free from iTunes as a one-time courtesy. This completed my previous library that I found.
