New 1TB Time Capsule - Only 929 GB?

I know it's common for hard drives to have a bit less space than advertised, but the new Time Capsule I just purchased began fresh with only 929 GB of memory - 71 GB short of a TB.

That's quite a difference, even for a drive this large.

Bottom line: is this normal or should I contact Apple?
