Can't use Novation sl mkII with Logic.
I have tried for the past month to set up my novation sl25mkII with Logic 8, I've endlessly fiddled with settings in; the clicks & ports bit of the environment window ; the preferences/control surfaces/setup window & possibly settings within the keyboard as well.
Now I can't use my keyboard in MANUAL MODE or AUTOMAP MODE.
I've decided that automap mode is not suitable for logic and just wish to return to being able to use manual mode to make my own templates.
Can anybody advise me on what settings to use to best achieve this?
I've tried to sort this out by following tutorials etc. but can not get the keyboard to function effectively.
e.g
If I assign controls on the sl to controls on an instrument;
and then change template to assign more;
the controls assigned on the previous template are working on all templates.
I hope someone can help me because it's driving me mad!
