Moving recipient address LEFT and UP in Envelope Templates

When using any of the envelope templates, the recipients address always prints out too far to the right of the envelope and too low and it just looks wrong.

I do have the correct size envelope, I have just got a tape measure out to check them

I can highlight all the relevant text and drag the tab, but only to the right, it won't drag to the left.

I would also like to move the text up a line or two, but I can't seem to do this either.

For now I have just created my own envelope template, but I really would like to know what is locking these items in the templates. Other posts regarding templates in page layout documents mention a feint cross that shows items are locked, but these are WP documents and I can see anything similar here.
