Block specific wireless network on mac

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to block a specific wifi network in Mac OS. The reason I want to do this is that where I am, there are several available networks, but only one without a password. When I close my computer and then open it up again, it automatically joins the network without a password, even though its the wrong network. So I switch it to the right network (even though the right network has a password it is saved in keychain so when I select it I don't have to put in the password). But it's really annoying because my Macbook won't remember that I want it to join the right network so each time it wakes up from sleep it automatically joins the wrong network and then I have to change it and it takes a good 30 seconds. Ideas?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.7)

Okay I seem to have figured out a solution. If I uncheck the option to memorize all networks I connect to, and remove the network I don't want from my preferred list, my computer stops automatically joining the wrong network. Unfortunately I think this will mean that in the future if there are other networks I want to join my computer won't automatically remember the password, but I guess that's just an inevitable consequence.
