Blinking mute buttons

Open your Mixer, press the All button so it is blue, and carefully scroll sideways until you see a lit Solo button. Deactivate it.
Flashing mute buttons always indicate something soloed.
If no solo button is lit but there are flashing mutes:
You could also be in *Solo Mode*, where whatever is selected, is soloed. The timeline gets yellowed in *Solo mode*, as does the selected region(s). You can toggle *Solo mode* by hitting s.

Open Environment and there you'll perhaps find a fader with solo activated? If you can listen to audio files found in your bin then I bet solo is activated for the Prelisten fader which you can find in Environment.
