Why doesnt Apple add

Why does apple make the iPhone always have to have cation services on and off. why cant the application decide for its self and turn it on and off accordingly, with our permission of course so that we don't have to exit the program and go to the settings and change these every time, if we are trying to get the most battery life as well as the most convenient use out of our iPhones.Also do the same thing for the 3G service since it takes the most of the battery life of anything on the iphone.

Also why doesn't the iPhone have power setting, like when you get down to 40% battery left why doesn't it turn off WiFI if not in use or turn the equalizer off on the iPod (if it is on. Maybe turn down the brightness 5 0r 10% change the time till lock screen comes . Give us more options to choose from. Also warn us about our depleting battery before 200% so that we can change the power options accordingly ourselves at least so that we can make the device last for as long as we need it to, because I'm not always near a charging station.
