Safari repeatedly asks for Keychain password

Hello,

I'm having a problem with Safari and Keychain. I stored the Username and Passwords in Keychain and set them to ask for the password.

Unfortunately it asks me several times for the password while using it.

Two times before actually filling in the form and once when sending the login, I mean, after feeling and after i click submit.

Is there any way for Safari to ask for my keychain Password only once (per use)?

Thanks,
João

Hi Joao

Open Keychain Access.app in your Utilities folder. Highlight one of familiar keychain entries on the right side or type a familiar name in the spotlight panel. Then double click the entry. When the panel opens, select "Access Control".

In the "Always allow access" panel, click on the +, then navigate to Safari in your Applications folder. Save changes.

Just for good measure, go to the Keychains Menu>Keychain First-Aid and select "repair". If any errors appear, rerun until you get a clean pass.

Close Keychain Access and restart Safari.

Thank you, I tried it, but now it doesn't ask for any password. What I want is Safari to ask for the password only one time! Is it possible?

Let me try to explain it better:

What I have:
- I open a webpage for which I have a password stored on the keychain and it asks me for my keychain password.
- Than it asks for my keychain password again.
- it auto-fills the login and password textbox
- If i click submit (or login or whatever) it asks for my password once again.

What I would like:
- I open a webpage for which I have a password stored on the keychain and it asks me for my keychain password
- it auto-fils the login and password textbox
- if I click submit (or login or whatever) it doesn't ask for the password I previously entered.

Thanks for your time.

Kind regards,
João
