unix utility to batch convert rtf, html and such to plain text

Can't remember this unix command that batch converts rtf, rtfd, doc, html to plain text. I remember using it a long time ago.

Any suggestions?

PowerMac G4, iBook G4, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.7)
