RAM upgrade, original Mac Pro, what can I use?

This is my machine, i want to increase ram, i got 8 GB of 667 MHz it is that the fastest ram i can put or i can upgrade or change completely to a 1033 MHz or i am wrong and the bus speed i see on the hardware description it is just the microprocessor and not the memory bus, i copy my hardware description thank you

Unless you need more RAM, looks like you have had 2GB, and 4 x 2GB is ideal, or 8 x 2GB if you do more in graphics and digital work.

You are stuck with the memory controller spec of 667. Check the specs page.

If you want to improve your system more, faster drives. Maybe a couple SSDs or 10K VelociRaptor or just latest 7.2k drives. Also, the newest ATI graphics card might help some.
