Video Cam Conferencing from IBOOK to PC question

Hello,
I hope someone can help me. I want to set up video conference from my IBOOK to a PC. I have a regular USB cam and I have software that shows my cam on the IBOOK screen (macam software) but I cant figure out how to broadcast my cam to the pc. On the pc I have AIM instant messaging with video. I also have IChat on the IBOOK with iUSBCam software but when I log into my IChat and go into a video chat the IBOOk only broadcasts a pic of my computer screen and it does not read the cam. Anyone have any help that they can offer. One more note when I go to the iusbcam and select change video source I only have 2 settings 1. Screen view where I only get a picture of my Ibook screen and the other is audio only.

Hi,

iUSBCam comes as a trial.
When the trial runs out the utility defaults to showing you the Desktop and not the video pic from the camera.

At less than $10 it is hardly going to break the bank.

Is it a trial you have ?

If it is not have you had it for a while and have you updated it ? http://www.ecamm.com/mac/iusbcam/

If the AIM version is higher than AIM 6.5 make sure "Real Time" is Off.

Other apps tend to do better.
http://www.ralphjohns.co.uk/page5.html#_other See numbers 5 through 8 for other options of apps.
See 9 through 12 for Web Browser based options (you need Flash and use settings to allow the access to the camera.)

Please, if posting Logs, do not post any Log info after the line "Binary Images for iChat"

I'd second Ralph's suggestion and try #5 on his list - iVisit works on G3 Macs (follow the download page links for 'classic iVisit') and talks nicely with iVisit running on PC's (98, NT, XP, Vista, 7) and Windows Mobile. 1:1 is free and multi-party is $4.95/month.

+I may gain some benefit, financial or otherwise from recommending this link (as I work for them+ ;-))
