safari website icons gone from my bookmark bar

safari website icons gone from my bookmark bar

I have reset the safari browser which i know can remove the website icons but by going into the site doesn't seem to restore the icon that was deleted. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Rob ......

Quite Safari ...

NOW, open Finder window and go to Home folder>Library>Safari folder

NOW, trash the WebpageIcons.db

Now restart Safari browser and visit any web site ... did the Favicon coming back ... ?

Sorry to jump in here, but what if I don't even have the webpageicons.db file you mentioned?

My favicons are not showing up.
