I have been suffering from this same code (2094) for some weeks now, on my Powerbook that I have had for some time. Nobody at Apple seems able to help or is interested.... Over the same time-scale, my mail now refuses to open images and the routine Apple Hot News feeds on RSS have stopped - what is going on anybody.....?!..... I have tried reloading iTunes - have downloaded latest 10.5.8 - nothing..... Can NOBODY give me a clue....?

try this: system preferences, network (airport "connected", also lock in bottom left corner needs to be unlocked), advanced, proxies tab, configure proxies: manually, uncheck "web proxy (HTTP)", click "ok".

this allowed me to access the iTunes store and my email loaded no prob. i don't know if this will work for the other problems you are having.

good luck.
