Powermac G5 2.3 DC Late 2005...liquid cooled???

I have the opportunity to buy a used Powermac DC 2.3 GHz (Late 2005) model, but I would prefer not to get a liquid cooled model due to the leakage issues. I have scoured the net, and have found evidence that none of the 2.3 GHz units were liquid cooled...however, I have the warning inside the unit I looked at about leaks.

Many, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Hi-

It's not liquid cooled.
Only 2.5GHz and 2.7GHz machines are liquid cooled.
And when I go to the Apple Profiler, it lists 2 CPU's...I'm totally confused.

or

Does the System Profiler list the machine as a "PowerMac 7,3" or a "PowerMac11,2"?
The PowerMac7,3 is an Early 2005 PCI-X/AGP dual processor model, and the PowerMac11,2 is the Late 2005 PCIe dual core model.

PowerMac 11,2 is the Late 2005 model, that's correct. I think the person in one of those links who said his DC 2.3 was leaking was mistaken. They are not liquid cooled. The pipes you are seeing are air heatpipes, not coolant pipes.

Also, the service manual for the Late 2005 models has this to say about the liquid cooling system (verbatim from the manual): "The Power Mac G5 (Late 2005 Quad) configuration uses a liquid cooling system (LCS) to manage the temperature in the computer." Notice how it only references the Quad model - the only Late 2005 model that's at 2.5 GHz or above.
