Getting rid of second line overhang with bullets

I am trying to use a bulleted list in Keynote 09, and the second (and later) lines are indented past the first line text. Is there a way to line up the lines on the left side.

Thanks

The text indent does indeed move both rows of text, but it should align both to the same left margin. That is, it controls the indent of all the text, and thus ensure that all the lines of text line up the same.

How are you making the bullets? Are you using a template with a bulleted body, or are you using a text box?

And just to be clear, you do want a hanging indent for your bullets, such that the bullet itself hangs outside the bullet text, which is all aligned to the same left margin?

Hi Tulse, thank you for the replies.

I added bullets to the body level lines in the Master Slide. My problem is with the main text boxes that are auto-generated in later slides.

I am trying to change the formatting so that the bullet is to the left of the text, and both (or more) lines of text are aligned on their left side to the right of the bullet.

Thanks

I'm still not completely clear on what you did, but if you are seeing both a bullet indent and text indent control in the List Inspector, then that should definitely independently control where the bullet starts and where all lines of text start.

If you add text to a slide that uses a master with bullets on it, do you notice the same issue?
