“Analyze for stabilization Danger"

You must leave “Analyze for stabilization after import” turned off. Unfortunately, stabilising your video completely destroys the interlacing and so, combined with the “Full” size import, makes exporting HD video completely impossible.

I wish Apple would remove this option from the upload panel.
It makes you think your doing a good thing when actually it's ruining your options.

Anyone notice after you load video from camera, the HD option is missing after using 'Stabilization' when you go to 'Share'?

Then I wondered what was going on when others using the same ZS3/TZ7 posted their videos were perfect and showing the HD option at Youtube/Vimeo.

But not on mine. All that work for days editing for nothing.

Hello,

I think your a bit confused on how stabilization works. Stabilization does nothing at all to your actual video files, it just stores data to stabilize it in real time while playing or exporting. Now, you certainly can turn off this option in the import panel if you like, OR you can turn off stabilization in the inspector for every clip in your project.

As for HD export, the HD option in the preset export should be available for any project that has at least 1 960x540 or larger clip OR at least 1 still image. Not sure why you don't see it..

Not sure why when ready to share, that HD is now no longer an option.

Would be cool to save all the edit work already done, and to preserve the HD.

I'm reloading the video to iMovie that was first set to 'Stabilize' during last import to 'not stabilize' this time just to prove a point during 'Share' export

I'll try that option in inspector, and see if that changes things at the point of Share.

Good point here as well, and it's uncertain just how to prove it.
It could of been an in camera setting that just wasn't set right.
A few unknowns sabotages logic.
