can't recall 2-digit screensets w/key command

Howdy,

Still getting my feet wet with Logic 9, and I just noticed a biggie: I can't use the usual method of recalling 2-digit screensets anymore! When I hold CTRL + type the first digit, Logic changes to that screenset and never get to enter the 2nd digit.

For example, if you want screenset 29, you're supposed to type CTRL-2 then 9. Not happening here - is this working for anyone else?

Interestingly enough, I can access a second bank of screensets from 11 to 20 by first pressing the "0" (zero) key (that's not on the keypad), and then another number. The selection is offset by +1, ie:

Press "0" followed by "0" for screenset 11
Press "0" followed by "1" for screenset 12
etc.

Since I only use 18 screensets this question is solved for me. Hopefully this workaround will help out the original thread starter.

Cheers!

Hey Guys,

I figured this out. All you have to do is delete the current key commands ("go to screenset 1x and so on) and set them again - that brings them back to life.

I've often noticed that major version updates require resetting some key commands. There were some others too for me - same applies: just delete any that aren't working and reset them.

I also noticed that Apple has graciously ⚠ allowed us to use all the function keys in Logic 9 - but yeah, beware of any conflicts with Spaces, Expose, etc.

Hope that helps,

Jim
