I know this is a Safari forum but can't find TextEdit under Applications list. So, I hope someone out there can help...When I attempt to save a text file for CSS external style sheet I get the following: "can't save using .css - must use .css.html (or Rich Text, etc.). It appears I can do this from Windows Notepad, however. Any thoughts??
All you have to do is save the file as a text file with the .txt extension. Then select the filename, press Return quickly to highlight it and change the extension to .css and press Return again. When the window appears asking if you want to use that extension or keep the original one, choose to use the CSS extension.
