"Day-Timer" "Day Runner" "Day Planner"

Greetings,

Thru out the afternoon, I have been playing hide-and-go seek in Goggle and Apple Discussions. I am searching for an Apple "Day-Timer" "Day Runner" "Day Planner" type product. I use iCal and Address Book ... they don't offer the variety of features on several PC planners.

It would be wonderful to find an Apple application which I can use on my MacBook (#1 priority) and iTouch. Hope it is out there & someone can point me in the right direction.

Kind regards,

Bill Siegrist

What are those features? If you don't tell us, we can't give appropriate recommendations. (Especially since I'm not sure what a "day timer" and "day runner" are.) If iCal does not fit the bill, you will have to look to a third-party, as iCal is Apple's only entry in the calendar market.

Thanks for the responses so far ...

(1) Day-Timer (www.daytimer.com) = probably the #1 paper day-planner (organizer) in the US.

(2) Features = combination/integrated address book, calendar, and most important place to keep the following: lists / to-do's / prayer lists / goals / projects.

(3) third-party is okay

Hope that helps ... I appreciate your assistance.

I guess I'm not understanding how iCal plus Address Book doesn't fit the bill, then. iCal can do to-dos, and those can be used for all the other lists you mention.

Greetings Golden Shoes & Thomas,

On www.dpreview.com in the Mac forum, I listed the same inquiry. One of the responders suggested OmniFocus. I have downloaded a preview version. Looks good!

Another suggestion was Contactizer Pro (www.objective-decision.com) I am looking at a preview version.

Kind regards,

Bill,

Thanks for the link to Contactizer Pro. I've been looking for a planner /organizer for a while. I'm surprised I had never seen this one before.

I've downloaded a trial copy. At first glance it looks to be very interesting.
Full integration with iCal, Address Book and Mail.
