How do you print square photos?

I know this subject sounds a bit silly, but in iPhoto v8.0.4, there is no obvious way to print a square photo.

I have an image cropped to square. If I go to print, the image is as wide as the (A4) page, but loses the top third. I'd like to reduce the image size so that the whole square fits on a single sheet of paper.

Thanks in advance!

I do not have iPhoto 6 anymore but from memory - Select the photo, click print and select the printer, paper size and print size (use a custom size) - I think that will do it (the preview will show) - if not, right click (control click) on the preview and select fit to frame and click on the print button, select any printer specific options and click print

Oh I see you do not have iPhoto 6 either - you have iPhoto '09 not iPhoto 6 where you posted - it really helps if you post in the correct forum different versions operate differently

You may have to click on the customize button on the first print window to be able to fit to frame
