New Contacts Going into Exchange Account

I have two sources of contacts on my iPhone - home Address Book and work Exchange. On the Address Book, I have a group, iPhone Group, which I have set to be the only sync source. In iTunes, I set this group as the default group to enter contacts into when I create them on the iPhone.

If I'm in "All Contacts" on the iPhone, and I create a new contact, the new contact is going into my Exchange account, and ignoring the default group setting entirely. Is there a fix for this?
