iTunes Plus and drm removal.

I remember a while back there was the option to remove drm from songs in iTunes by paying an extra price to upgrade the selected tracks to iTunes Plus tracks. Where has this option gone?

I am wanting to remove the DRM on some tracks so that they work with another program. Any advice on how to do this if the iTunes Plus upgrade has been taken away?

Log into the iTunes Store and look under the Quick Links at the upper-right of the iTunes Store main page. The "upgrade to iTunes Plus" link should still be there. It won't appear if you're not logged into your iTunes Store account.

Note that this does not "remove" the DRM, per se. What you will get is completely new downloads of the tracks, without copy protection and at a higher bit rate.
