Bluetooth on Sony Ericsson w995

Hi there,

I just got a SE W995 which i have paired with my macbook (Black 2.4 GHz) via bluetooth. Now what happens is that the phone asks if i would like to connect remote control now every single time the bluetooth establishes a connection with the phone. It becomes very annoying and after calling SE tech support, he said the issue has arisen with many mac users and is due to some bluetooth profiles within the operating system, not the phone itself.
After toying with bluetooth settings on the mac for several hours still no resolution.

Can anybody help me out here?
