question on Phoneview app ...

i m trying to copy pictures from my mac desktop to my iphone photo album library without sucess ... any idea ?

Hi,

Here are some ways... there may be more:

  • Click on the photo* and drag to the desktop or to a ƒ.
  • Click on photo* and drag onto the iPhoto icon in the Dock.
  • Click on photo* and choose the 'Copy from iPhone' button in the toolbar, then select a save location.

Make sure that you have the latest version of PhoneView installed, you'll need the latest to work properly with iPhone 3.0. On the PhoneView menu > Check for Updates...

* You can also press shift and click to select multiple photos.

Ah desolé. You're absolutely correct; I misread your question.

Why not just use iTunes and sync from iPhoto or a folder?

PhoneView allows you to put files on to the iPhone like an external hard disk or is used to take pictures, sms, call logs etc off the iPhone. It's not designed to replace iTunes functionality. If you just want to save the picture files on the disk mode part of the iPhone (i.e. they won't be visible on the iPhone) then select disk on the left-hand side and use the Copy to iPhone button.
