iPod Classic 120gb Won't Restore

I have a 120 gb classic i got last christmas and oneday it froze up and said I need to resotre it so i plugged it in and it said it found a iPod in safe mode that needed to be restored so I hit restore but halfway through I get 1439 Error.Can Some please help me with this?I do have newest iTunes

Have you had a chance to look at this Apple support document? If not, it would be a good place to start.

Otherwise, maybe try reformatting the iPod completely and then restoring through iTunes. Here are instructions on how to reformat your iPod using the tools provided by Windows. Worth a shot. 😉
