pitchbend won't work

Pitch bend only works on certain instrument, I think. You have to use the pencil tool. Command click in the editor with pitch bend on and you'll get points to move. I've not really used it as of yet, but that is how you begin.

Do you mean that when you have recorded a part using the pitch bend wheel on your keyboard nothing shows up? Or just when you inspect an existing midi region (e.g. from a loop)?

It sounds like she's talking about the editor as she says "switching from notes to pitchbend", but I guess it isn't clear if she means from a loop or from her own keyboard part. Perhaps if you gave a little more info about what you are trying to do?
