Playing .dts files in iTunes

Hello!

I understand that playing .dts files in iTunes is possible. However, I can't seem to get this to work. Is there anything I'd need to do aside from dragging the .dts file directly onto iTunes to get it to play?

Also, will the .dts files be transferred to my iPod when I connect it to my computer? If not, how can I get them to play?

I don't care about having 5.1 surround. There are just a few exclusive tracks only available in .dts format that I would like to listen to on my iPod. If there is a good .dts to .mp3 (or .aac or whatever) converter, please point me in its direction.

Thanks in advance for your help!
