'Timer or Timeout no MIDI device ready'..?

Hi Guys,
When I open GB I get that msg. that keeps blinking on.screen...

I have no options than force quit the whole..

What should I do?

I checked config. and its all set for built.in audio in/out

?

Hi

Mine says Timeout or Timer inactive. And MIDI settings says: MIDI server cannot start (in Finnish, so I'm not quite sure what that would be in English).

As far as I know, I have not installed any MIDI drivers on this PB:

I found other threads here. They said that they had success after installing M-Audio MIDI drivers so I did. And now it works.

I installed drivers for Midisport 1x1 (my dad owns one, I don't). Rebooted and now Garageband works.

Go figure.

I also have this problem. It only started happening after I updated to the newest version of GarageBand.

Hi guys,
I think it has to do with m-audio as well..

I have firewire solo and that could cause the trouble,
I've been reinstalling GB a few times with no success.

I might go and find some latest drivers and see how it goes...

Ok Solved.

After patching to gb .2,
I had to reinstall my m-audio firewire solo drivers.

Now all works fine again.
