Their up-to-date program is giving me so many problems

So I go onto their up-to-date program site today to try to get the 9.95 version since I just got it on the 11th of August. gives me the "Sorry, we can't find the serial number you provided. Please recheck your serial number and enter it again." message....called them...on hold for an hour AND THEY DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING...they ended up telling that they don't know WHY it's doing that. and then told me to fax my order (WHO THE EFF STILL FAXES??!!) or wait and see....WHAT THE HECK AM I SUPPOSSED TO DO NOW? It makes no sense that I HAVE to wait more than people that are pre-ordering the OS right now

Yeah, this up-to-date program doesn't seem to be working for me either. I go to the website, login, and expect my cart to have the $10 copy of Snow Leopard in it, but it doesn't. Instead there's nothing: just an empty cart and no confirmation anything happened.

I just barely made the cut off (ordered my computer June 9th from the online Apple store), so I got excited when I saw I could get this upgrade for $10.

Anyone else having this issue? I know that it is about to get release, but my 90 days are up in a couple weeks. Hopefully I'll be able to do this before September 9th.

Perhaps silly questions for those of you with the 'can't find serial number' problem:

a. Did you buy the qualifying Mac from an Apple Store (either online or bricks & mortar) or an Apple Authorized Reseller?

b. Did you register your purchase with Apple, either during the initial setup or via the Apple Product Registration page?

c. Is your new Mac listed on the Snow Leopard Up-to-Date New Macs page, or your refurbished Mac on the Snow Leopard Up-to-Date - Refurbished Macs page?

d. On the qualifying form, is any field name besides the serial number you entered marked in red when you click on the "Qualify System" button & get the "Sorry, we can't find the serial number you provided" error?
