Help on Morphing Text in Motion

Hi,

Could anyone help me with if it is possible to Morph text in Motion? I would like to morph the text "Faster, Cheaper" into "Slower Deeper" along a 3d motion path and ramped acceleration. Not sure if this is possible in Motion. This is to go as a repeating animation into Keynote.....

Thanks
Steve

I have no idea what that means.

It's a difficult task to morph objects in Motion depending on your concept of "morph." It's easy to add a distortion filter to one layer and reverse the distortion on another. As Adam says, you then add a transition between the layers.

There are third party morphing filters available for After Effects, I have never bothered to look for one for Motion, might be one someplace. In the olden days, before a plugin existed, we'd convert text objects to masks and then animate the vertices of the masks in AE.

That's great all the talk about After Effects; too bad this is the Motion forum < </div>

Ah, an elitist of the "exclusivity" sub-variety. Following your logic, we can't talk about FCP in the Motion forum, either. (insert suitable smiley face here)

Thanks for the chv link. Completely been ignoring them after a bad experience with Motion 1 (or was it 2?). Their current offerings seem interestingly unique.
