How to Uninstall/Reinstall Garageband?

Hi everyone. I'm trying to uninstall Garageband and I went to the site everyone keeps linking at, but I'm getting a little confused by the directions on how to reinstall. How do I completely remove all of GB and then reinstall it from the boot-up disk? Would the program be under an optional thing? I'd hate to go around and mess with something that could trash my Mac.

I've never had to uninstall or reinstall any of the programs on my Mac since I got it. So, if anyone can give me a bit of a step by step, that would be very much appreciated. 😀

How do I completely remove all of GB

since there is no uninstall option, you need to find all the parts and delete them by hand:

http://www.bulletsandbones.com/GB/GBFAQ.html#deletealltracesofgb

(Let the page FULLY load. The link to your answer is at the top of your screen)

and then reinstall it from the boot-up disk?

it's on one of them, generally disc 2:

(Let the page FULLY load. The link to your answer is at the top of your screen)
