My iPhone randomly deleted all my text messages.

Messages are included with your iPhone's backup, which is created and maintained by iTunes as the first step during the sync process. If you haven't synced your iPhone with iTunes since this occurred, don't.

When was the last time you synced your iPhone with iTunes before this occurred? You can restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup - based on the last time you synced your iPhone with iTunes since this occurred. Any messages exchanged since that time will be lost in the process.

iv got this problem too! is there anyway of fixing this without resorting my iphone?

I have the same problem and it is driving me crazy!
It even deletes new incoming msg even before I see it.

Me Too!! Its really frustrating and annoying..when i get a new message, it even separates into a different contact column..Lets say after i message my gf,when i get a reply i have two sections of my gf msg,one the one i sent and one the one she sent at the messages main menu. When i try to open the one i receive, the sms program shuts down itself back to iphone homepage menu!! When i reopen the sms program, all the messages is lost!! As if it has reboot itself!What more its happening very frequently...Almost every message i sent and receive!!
